A little bit about me
Hi, I’m Hannah! I began my career working as a Paramedic in London. I now follow my passion for supporting mental health and wellbeing, and love every second of it! I live in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire with my husband and two girls, as well as our dog, cat and chickens. I enjoy reading, sewing, knitting, gardening and practising yoga, but spend most of my time being terrorised by our rescue puppy!
My passion lies in supporting mental health in all ages, with a special interest in children and their development, and babies and postpartum wellbeing. I have undertaken certifications and qualifications to bring this passion alive and provide evidence based, informed classes.
My training
I began my career by obtaining my BSc(Hons) 1st class in Paramedic Science, which has provided me with a strong underpinning knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as practical experience of supporting with people from all walks of life in all kinds of crises.
I then undertook a level 2 qualification in Children and Young People’s Mental Health. I hold Yoga Alliance accredited certifications as a children’s yoga teacher, and children’s breathwork and yoga nidra instructor, and have studied my 200 hours yoga teacher training. I have undertaken IPHM accredited training in children’s meditation, yoga and play classes- holding certifications in both preschool and primary age children. Finally, I trained in baby yoga and baby massage with the FEDANT accredited Settled Petals course. I am also fully DBS checked and insured to work with children and babies!
